Professional Experience and Education: 

Silkya Puckett completed her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Central Michigan University. Internship was conducted at Saginaw Chippewa Behavioral Health Center Mount Pleasant, Michigan which consisted of 600 hours of supervised individual therapy, group therapy, advocacy for individuals effected by domestic violence and sexual assault. A wide range of presenting concerns were treated such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, self-harm, crisis intervention, problematic sexual behavior in children, behavioral concerns in children, abuse/sexuality, interpersonal conflict, stress management. Silkya also has experience in advocacy and case management, involving clientele needing assistance. Silkya also acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2013 from Wayne State University.
